Fell

Out early on the bike for a route that took in the long climb of Hartside Fell. It was blowing a gale up there - hard going, without being particularly steep either. Just a slog. Kind of liked it tho' I have to say.

After a quick freshen up at home it was off out with My Lot for an alfresco pub lunch in the sun at Castle Carrock before heading down to visit the Long Meg stone circle and then over to Ullswater for some spectacular scenery and an ice cream. Damson no less, and quite delicious.
