Fire Across the River

Its been a pretty laid back day.....the boy was throwing up during the night so that kinda put the whole household out and none of us got much sleep.

He is OK and woke up hungry...for us it was hard to get out of bed.
A long FT with P a whip around tidying up a bit and a wee rest before heading out for Fish n Chips for tea down by the river. There were wee fires springing up which looked quite amazing over the other side of the river....burning off I presume.....it and the smoke looked amazing as the sun was setting...and of course I didn't take my camera out with me.

There was a lot going on ...not the least Beetle in his usual form announcing to everybody that he had arrived scaring the bejesus out of a little girl with a white fluffy dog...he can be so excitable...which can be seen as aggresive......an old couple called him a frightening little creature a few weeks back. I guess those he charges do not know that he is the biggest wimp this side of the black stump and wouldn't hurt anything.

Anyway home now ...time for tea and an early night.
