Last Light
The last night of our socially distanced stay on the barrier island started out pretty much the same way the week had begun when a passing front (which at least wasn't intent on becoming a hurricane) brought heavy wind blown rains. Sitting in the front room and looking out through the Lanai (see the extra), I noticed that the low and setting sun had managed to burn its way through the low cloud cover like a spotlight, creating a surreal look out on the horizon and casting shadows where you would least expect them, like on the wall behind the table lamp beside the chair where I was sitting at the time. Hardly a technically "spot on" blip or "significant" image and topic, not a bad way to wrap up a good week I think.
Take care folks ... and, as I have been known to opine, the adventure through the viewfinder continues.
