Snow on the Palm

For me "Palm Tree" means heat, summer, tropical beach, relaxing etc. So it looked rather out of place to see snow sitting on the palm fronds.

I tried a couple of wider shots at f/8 of the whole tree, but decided that f/1.4 and close up had far more impact.

Enjoyed the wintery scenes across the city this morning and a wander around the Park, but by mid afternoon the temperature rose and it all turned to rain.
