Escallonia Rubra

This is a type of flowering privet and I took a shot of it just to check out how effective my plant identification app is (PlantNet). The previous occupants of our bungalow bought the property as new and lived here for six years before we purchased it. Fortunately they were accomplished gardeners so most of the plants and shrubs in our garden were well established before we arrived. This means that we often are unsure what the identification of plants in our garden may be so this app is really useful.
