BEAKY

Here's the magpie with an overgrown top to its beak which I wanted to blip yesterday, but this time without suspicious-looking herbage in the background! The bird seems to be thriving and feeding well, in fact that hook might be an advantage in some circumstances, I suppose.

It's been a fairly busy day, sorting out stuff for Mum and tomorrow I have to call a heating engineer because despite the tropical temperatures this week here, she has to have the radiators blasting away in the evening, and one of them isn't working despite my best efforts*! It's a good job I brought some summer dresses with me.

*Swearing, pleading, hurling abuse, threatening and glaring balefully... these are my specialist skills when it comes to domestic breakdowns.
