New Road, Old Road

Weather forecast got it wrong, more sunshine, so drove down and round the scenic route.  It was lovely.  Stopped to let the dogs out somewhere we could access the old road which has fascinated me for years.  We walked along part of it, really felt like you were touching the past.  Had stupidly left my camera in the car but I'll be back.  Dogs loved it too.  Then onto Gribun where we stopped for a picnic and had another walk on the beach there.  Home in time to do some strimming.  The first time I've had a go, it's a heavy petrol one and once finished the muscles in my right arm and hands felt hammered.  Nearly time for a roast, wine and sofa.  Hope everyone's weekend has been ok.
