Ivy heaven for the insects

A lovely sunny, warm day, breezy but not windy like the past few days.

Nice surprise this morning when A came round, we went to see nan and then when A left I did some gardening, went for a walk and had lunch.  This afternoon S came round and we went to our friends, sat in the garden for  tea and chat.  Lovely relaxing day.
The photos were taken on my walk down the lane.  The ivy was covered with bees and a solitary red admiral butterfly.  Two extras are different bees
