Dereliction in the fields.....

I've seen this old house before but never walked down the lane where I stood today to take this shot.  When I see property such as this that I could well envisage being satisfactorily restored, I always wonder why they've been left to go to rack and ruin.  I suppose there are any number of reasons but whatever they are the buildings themselves make attractive blips.

We've had lunch with my brother and SIL today -  there's the chance we may have further Covid restrictions placed on our area and if so, at least we've spent some time together today.
