Harewood Greenhouse (DS211)

We had a couple of days just North of Leeds to meet up with our son who we have not seen since March!  First time meeting his girlfriend Hadeel too.   We decided on a walk around the grounds at Harewood where this old greenhouse sits in the walled garden.  A good subject for a mono Derelict Sunday effort I thought.

As with most monos: looks better large on black

In the extra, a more conventional view of the front of the house.  The inside is by Robert Adam and really quite splendid.  Almost as OTT as Waddesdon Manor but (just my opinion) done with more taste.

Sadly - the money came from Caribbean sugar plantations.
