Squirrel Blip Friday ...

... yet another chipmunk.

This journal is fact becoming an all chipmunk journal ... and I won't apologize for that!

Besides the chipmunks will all soon be going underground for their cold weather hibernation.  Their hibernation isn't a total sleeping hibernation like a lot of other hibernating animals.  They are often active in their burrows but sleep most of the time.  

We have often seen the more wild chippies up and out of their burrows during our winter months.  Even seeing some on January 1!
