Pentonville Rd £120...

.....still on the lower end of the monopoly spectrum with a visit to Pentonville Rd. The road runs from Kings Cross where it meets the Euston Rd, up to Angel at the other end (hence the blue set of the is created).

When you mention the word Pentonville people their mind usually drifts towards the Prison, however the prison is located on the Caledonian Road in Barnsbury.

The most interesting things on Pentonville Rd are bar and nightclubs for teeny boppers at the Kings Cross end one of the being the Scala.

When I first knew the Scala it was a cinema that used to show all night viewings, I remember watching the Stars wars trilogy and a Steve Martin (whatever happened to him?) triple bill. However Kings Cross was known an area for prostitution in those days so you could often end up viewing much more than the film that you came to see.

Thanks for the lovely comments on my Whitechapel Rd blip yesterday, just goes to show that I can do more than take pictures of more than buildings at night, I knew that when I started this series that some pictures would not be that scenic, but all part the metropolis we call London.

Also it is pure coincidence that I have another colour effect blip today (same colour as well), no picture from Matthew today we were all too busy but he did have enough time to pick the number 4.
