A get together

In order to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, we had a little family gathering at Lex's house with Manda and Andrew, Sam and Max, and Sarah's dog Charlie.  We had a lovely dinner, drank wine and dipped apples in honey,  and dealt with two pretty cranky little ones.  In part this was because from 5PM to 7PM is the time when they are most fractious.  With both boys crying at the same time, it was decided to leave a little bit earlier than planned and get them into the car and home again.  I was very glad I got to see them.  The main blip is Lex feeding Max with Manda and Charlie looking on.  The Extra is Sam on Doug's lap.

The boys will be five months old tomorrow!  Amazing.
