Sunday: Girl In A Wetsuit

Today marked the annual Terry Fox Run so Canadian colleagues in the UK and British colleagues in Canada teamed up to run/walk/cycle/swim twice the length of the UK to raise money for cancer research.  The idea was that we all added up our totals to make sure we achieved the necessary mileage.  Our contribution was to walk the Stanley Park Seawall, a distance of 9km.

As we were walking along, a woman came towards us, frantically waving.  I thought I must know her but it turns she was and I were wearing the same Terry Fox t-shirt so we stopped and had a chat.  Coincidentally, we also bumped into H and J in Stanley Park.

Our fundraising efforts made the Edmonton News which is exciting.
