Giggles
I brought Bob to Zabar's in Grand Central Station today to get a Black and White, my favorite cookie. Bob found this cubby in which to curl up and the staff thought it was hysterically funny. Someone said, "We should take a picture!" So I did and they laughed even harder when they saw the picture. I don't really know why they thought it was so funny, but I decided to post it in their honor.
Today, our beloved former nanny, Rhi, took Bob to the Circus in NYC. Last year, Bob had a bit of a mishap. After 1 train, 2 subways, and lots of walking through subways, train stations, and Madison Square Garden, we plunked Bob in his seat before the show to find that he was only wearing one shoe. Today, Bob wore sneakers with laces to ensure the shoes would stay on. This time, Bob and I went in to the city on our own, requiring him to walk, since I find carrying him very difficult. He did an extraordinary job and was a great traveler.
This evening, we had an amazing event - a thunderstorm with HAIL! I haven't seen hail since we left Texas 3 years ago and Bob had never seen it. We had so much and the temps were so cool that we still had some left on the ground the next day.
