Colourful Cosmos

Today is the Jeûne Fédéral National Holiday - which is probably equivalent to Thanksgiving.  It was tradition to fast on this day, but I don't think that anybody does that anymore! However, the tradition of eating plum tart (to break the fast) has remained! I'll be making mine for tea!

These lovely pink and white Cosmos are blooming along the fence of the local Community Centre just opposite the road from me. The hoverfly was a sweet addition.
