Old and New
Evidence of human habitation on this coast has been traced back to late Neolithic times, yet twice every day new patterns and drainage channels are produced.
The tides at present have large variations between high ( 9.5 metres) and low (0.7 metres), which produced very interesting gullies and sand movement on the beach. Caution is advised as one can be caught by incoming tides that can surround the unwary wanderer.
This is my entry for Mono Monday hosted today by GadgetKid, thanks for setting the challenge as Old and New. Old beach, New Patterns.
