Hibiscus Coast

The Hibiscus Coast is well named, there are lots of these beautiful blooms about at present. An indication of the warmer, almost tropical climate up here that those of us from Christchurch are not used to! Bring on the "winterless North" !!
But I have been told that this summer has been better than most, with less rain and more sun so perhaps we are being lulled into a false reality here? Anyway, making the most of it while we can....
