Meadow cutting

While I was away the meadow areas at our development were cut.  We are not able to get the grass collected up due to the cost, it should rot down naturally over the coming weeks. 
 
It does look nice with the grass short but leaving it long creates a diverse habit for wildlife and also is cheaper to manage.
 
We did a few other jobs around the house and some admin.  I cooked roast chicken in the evening which was lovely.
