Old and New(ish)

The same object apart from size and age.
The larger dates back to around 1930, the smaller to about 1990. The design hasn't changed and is still on sale.
The older one was of course my fathers, and like more or less every metal thing he owned is engraved with his name. Cheap hand engraving became a good little sideline when, with the start of war, everyone needed identity discs or bracelets.
