Shooting the Stones

Well it's almost the Equinox (tomorrow technically) but a day each side is fine and tomorrow looks like the rain will sweep in. We brought Robert and Finola out to inspect the newly revealed site and much exclaiming and discussion went on. It's a bit of a conundrum and doesn't seem to especially line up with anything. We had instructions to return at sunset to see what was going on. We did so and returned none the wiser but as we approached the whole site was illuminated in a golden light. The sun set in a not terrifically significant spot and a slight pathway seemed to be illuminated between two of the stones.  I think I can confidently say the stones' secrets remain secure.
A gorgeous day though, wall to wall sunshine and a good lunch and catch up in the conservatory.
