Time for change

Some of you will know we’ve been collecting conkers (bonkers! or what?). You can just see top left last year’s, ready to be replaced by the new. - washed and drying. All ready to confront the SPIDERS.

Aside from conkers are 2 china cats. I bought one years ago for my then little cousin (now 40), and ended up getting 3 for myself - sadly one’s bitten the dust.

The basil’s old too. Cut it back this evening, enough for a small pot of pesto. Time to buy another.

Had car serviced today. Called the garage with misgivings about instructions to check in ‘upstairs’. They were really understanding, agreeing to do the admin outside.

Beautiful, hot day. Tomorrow temperatures start the downward trend.
