Woods at White Wells

We've been up to Mere in Wiltshire to meet with Jen and Richard, my niece and nephew, for lunch. Mere is about midpoint between us at the moment although Richard normally lives in Singapore so it's a bit further for him. he came over after my sister died and is struggling to get back. We had a good lunch and were all impressed by both the service and the covid security.

I think our kitten is part dog. He does carry some of his toys around in his mouth and today I left my slippers in the hall and he's just brought one of them in to me. I'm hoping he'll go back and get the other one now!
