Toughest yet

The request came in to capture some video of some owls in their new enclosure. A simple request.  When we arrived the owls had full stomachs, inactive and positioned in the worst places in very low light. The keepers were unable to handle them and so we were left to capture video and stills as they were and we were on the clock! This was the toughest and most unsatisfying shoot I have ever done.  The Nikon D850 performed brilliantly given the conditions and manage to salvage some stills. I have yet to edit the video material but it will definitely be a case of constructing a silk purse out of a sow's ear!
