Missed the connection by one minute

and had to spend 1 1/4 more hours on Nottingham (as in Robnn Hood) station watching the snow falling steadily. Having scampered as fast as I was able, following a gaggle of Chinese students, up stairs and over to the next platform it was galling to find the train leaving the station without waiting for about 50 people who arrived on our slightly delayed train. I think it was a fix as we all piled into the coffee shop to keep warm and they did magnificent business. The snow is now a couple of inches thick but has stopped. I have followed instructions and brought long johns and lots of warm clothes
