"I CAN'T BELIEVE!"

Baxter the bluebird was mildly perturbed with Beatrice the bluebird.

" I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU'RE TRYING TO TALK TO THAT STONE-FACED BATHER! HE HASN'T TALKED TO YOU FOR 7 MINUTES! I AM HERE! I'M READY TO TALK!"

"Just give me three more minutes. I know I can get him to talk!"

"Fine Beatrice. But I'm not going to watch. I'm ready to serenade you, but I bet that guy can't even carry a tune!"

Baxter was right. The bather didn't talk, and we didn't get to see the next scene between Baxter and Beatrice, but it probably involved some groveling.

Two nights in a row to have bluebirds bathing in our birdbath. In 31 years at this house, I don't think we've ever seen them.
