For more horrible news, young men are discovering they had COVID when they wind up in the hospital with heart attacks and strokes. Apparently some of the people with no evident symptoms are suffering massive heart damage. The NIH had an internal meeting about it and there are increasing anecdotal stories. 

This looks like a picture of the same sun I photographed before but really it is a picture of a set of crystals Karen bought for me and that we hang in our dining room. I was watching a webinar by Neil Redfern on creative wedding photography. One thing he does is stick a crystal in front of the lens to get all sorts of wild flare. 

Marmite? 

Of course it only leaves you one hand to hold the camera with and this is another opportunity for me to be so grateful at how steady I can hold a camera now. 

One of my proposals at work won! Finally! It was starting to get a little worrisome. Last week I also won ... something with no money attached .... actually it is the opportunity to give thoughts for free ... so it so both impressive and maybe not really.

Speaking of winning, I won a Miops photography contest. They had a contest Miops Stay Safe. I entered two pictures, I don't know which one won. (It could be that there just weren't that many entries.) I win a sophisticated camera remote. One cool thing it should do is make it easier to take pictures of lightning. It won't really work at home though because I'm surrounded by trees, but one day....
