A blast from the past!

This is an Austin A30 van. My dad bought me one after I passed my driving test in 1965. He paid £30 for it!  Imagine - you can't even fill a car up with fuel for that much now. 
My first week's wage was £4.16.00 (£4.80 today) and now a fancy coffee and a flapjack is £5.50 in some places. Does this mean that 60 years from now, people who are on £200 per week today will have to pay £250 for a coffee and flapjack then? You couldn't make it up ...
