busy waterways

Apparently the last hot and sunny day of the month today, so we had to head out and about to make the most of it - before we're all locked up again indefinitely because some people in the country still can't understand the concept of keeping their distance from people outside their household....ggrrrrr!!

So we headed back to Shoebury in hope of spotting the kingfishers, but not a trace of them today! Not surprising as the waterways were so full of ducks and swans!! Wildlife is booming over there which is lovely to see - although the noise of the seemingly thousands of starlings in various bushes was rather overwhelming!! Much better than any manmade noise though!
