Working

The reason we're here. Steve is at work! Footlight Audio is doing its job as an acoustic consultant, about home cinema and new hi-fi spec and installation in this B&B. So we're here for the ride as a trip to the New Forest was too lovely an opportunity to miss.

Bean and Bear helped with this stage of consultation by howling, squeaking, growling, climbing all over everything including daddy, and producing smells. I should have helped out really. In the end I did take them away to change the Bear's stinky nappy! It was actually quite fascinating listening to Steve do his stuff. He was talking to the lady of the house this morning, taking her thoughts into consideration about how their rooms get used etc.

Went off into the Forest to a museum this afternoon where both boys enjoyed roaming around! We learnt about the New Forest Ponies (well, I did) which we saw LOTS of today, I've never seen ponies in the wild before! (Speaking of wildlife, driving back from the pub last night we saw three young bucks in the lane, completely unfazed by our car despite being right in the way!)

Bean's imagination is back, too. He saw monkeys in the jungle trees along the way. Yesterday he couldn't see any, and was very cross about not having ANY imagination...
