Balcony flowers

Took this shot after work today on our drive way. These flowers are normally used as balcony flowers but only live for one season. However, my husband thought he would try to grow them for a second year despite everyone saying it wouldn’t work. He’s been proved right although they are only just reaching their best as the cold weather starts.
