Small mossy world
Tuesday is Frieda day and we had some good times out in the park, in the autumn sunshine. My eye was caught by the wonderful cragginess and the mossy layers on one of the trees near the entrance.
Marianna picked Frieda up at 2, as we had agreed that I would babysit at their house tonight. She and Jack are meeting a couple of friends at a local restaurant.
None of us believes that the current round of new restrictions will be enough to slow down or reverse the current coronavirus rise in numbers. We are so weary of talk of moon shots, circuit breakers etc. Just give us ordinary, local NHS public health testing and tracing ... with people who know what they're doing and care about it. We could believe in that, as a helpful measure.
