Together again

Kaapo and Mörkö haven't spent much time in the cowshed lately, but maybe the weather getting cooler makes it more tempting. Actually today I heated the boiler, so it was nicer to cuddle up near it.

I took another look at the last little barley field and decided to harvest it with the combine after all. Unlike all other barley, it was mostly flat, half green and quite wet, but the other ways to harvest it seemed more laborious. I still had the option to mix the results with the last drying batch, so that was sorted out easily. Did it after lunch and got the dryer going before coffee break. Then started cleaning the combine, but didn't get far with it, as today evening was the best spraying weather in the forecast and I had to use that opportunity.
