How much!!?

We went to Abersoch for a little mooch around the shops and then along the beach. It was a nice place but I’m glad I’m not staying there. I do love a beach hut and there was one for sale. It was not in good condition and it was right on the end where everyone walks by to get on and off the beach. The sign read...offers over £100,000!!! Anyone who pays that is a fool.

Anyway we left the Cheshire set with all their landrovers and drove off to find another beach. We found a beautiful one down a long steep path. It was glorious. We sat there and had a picnic and just drank in the view and listened to the rhythm of the sea. The climb back up was challenging and Alison wasn’t sure she would make it, but we all got there in the end. I would definitely go there again.

We then made our way to Aberdaron. What a lovely place that was, too. We went in the pub on the beach and had a couple of drinks as we watched the tide come in and the sun sink into a glorious red sky. We ate a pizza on a bench overlooking the beach and then when it was dark I went in the sea!

It was the Neon Swim at the Quays tonight and as I couldn’t be there I joined in at a distance. I put my glow sticks on and went in for a dip. When I took pics all you could see were the glow sticks as it was so dark with a million stars twinkling above us. A woman walked by as I was standing in my swimsuit and said, “Oh my god, you’re not going, are you?”

“I am,” I replied and plunged into the crashing waves. As I was dipping Sue told the woman I was a champion outdoor swimmer and I was supposed to be at a big event, but I couldn’t go so I was entering in spirit there...Lol. Champion swimmer!!!....ha ha ha.

What a great day.
