Gazillions of Pumpkins
A somewhat traumatic morning in the dentist chair. Top teeth fitted and the plate feels a lot more comfortable than the temporary one.
Moving to the bottom jaw, extraction of a loose tooth, and the fitting of an implant. I stopped counting the number of anaesthetic injections. The last one was the most painful. Stitches had to be used to stop bleeding. No wonder I felt wobbly when I left and a few thousand quid poorer. Also tired. Only lukewarm food and drink for the rest of the day.
It was a beautiful day. The last day of the summer weather. I directed Len to drive to Cattows Farm where I knew we could sit outside.
And that's where we saw all these pumpkins being reared for Halloween.
