Colour washed.

I always like the warm colour of Dunblane Museum, just opposite the Cathedral. Few museums can claim that their building is a museum piece itself; it’s a Grade 'A' Listed Building dating from 1624! It’s believed to have been the Dean of the Cathedral’s house, (and also a butcher's shop and a chemical laboratory!) etc, until its present conversion in 1943. The six rooms downstairs, two with barrel-vaulted ceilings, contain a collection of artefacts, paintings, prints and photographs about the Cathedral and Dunblane. The Trustees have chosen to keep the place closed just now due to prevailing situation.

Last time we were in Dunblane was just before the initial lockdown in March. We’d some of the same anxieties today in advance of tomorrow’s statement from the First Minister on further coronavirus restrictions.

We walked along the Allan Water path and over the Laigh Bents area. Quiet. Healthy. #wellbeing

Family FaceTime - a bit of a laugh.
