A Square of Barnyard Buddies

I'm not even sure Theresa the turkey is supposed to be in the pen with 3 donkeys, one miniature horse, and a sheep. But, as long as she is there, she is going to make friends.

The turkey is fond of Dante the donkey, and I think the feelings are mutual. I couldn't get a good picture of it, but...as you know, pesky flies are a problem for donkeys. So, Theresa would shadow Dante, picking off the flies that were on his legs, and swallowing them. (Good protein.)

Why do both Theresa and Dante seem to be on alert? Out of the picture on the left was a German Shepard puppy. The two barnyard buddies were REAL curious.
