Waiting

A beautiful white layer of snow this morning to wake up to, which meant I wouldn't be taking the bicycle to the office and instead took the train. I woke Amélie up to see the snow before I left for work and we had a quick breakfast together with Joni.

A miserable day in the end as the snow changed into sleet and rain, and forgetful of it being a 'fast day', I ate meat and never made it out to get my ashes (with it being Ash Wednesday).

Amélie and Joni made a snowman in the garden, and she sent me a picture and a video of it, remind me why I need to work?
