Blooming marvellous

Todays challenge is 'your favourite colour'
My answer to that tends to change from time to time but at this time of year it is usually yellow - all that promise of spring etc.

Today I had lunch with 3 good friends. I decided to buy the hostess some flowers but that prooved harder than usual. The first shop I went to only had red roses and things for Valentines day. Not very appropriate. Eventually Aldi provided these lovely yellow tulips and I just had to blip them before handing them over.

Lovely food, lovely friends, girly weekend planning, a bottle of wine, catching up on gossip. There are worse ways to spend an afternoon!
