Patience.....

Two white-faced herons were perched atop vineyard posts very early this morning. Here is one of them. I suspect they are a breeding pair. I could have done with a big DSLR and zoom lens this morning. But that gear, along with tripod, is no fun to carry on a long walk. There were threatening clouds to the north and west but no rain. I took Maisie to Sally, her groomer, this morning. Maisie is now looking very pretty and smells lovely. Duncan and Bryan arrived here this evening. Bryan loves being with the tortie and white girls.
