All My Own Work.
Not the best of photographs as heavy rain has stopped any more progress in moving the gravel from the front of the house to my back garden.
I’ve taken this shot through one of the blown windows in my conservatory.
The plan had been for Mike ( my SIL) and Nick, Mr P’s friend to both come here on Monday and bring. wheel barrow.
Those plans were quickly cancelled when Verity came down with a sore throat, cough and a temperature of 39.1!
A few phone calls and Rebecca and my three granddaughters were on their way to Nelson to get tested.
So l have been self isolating at home and decided to use the time productively and move it myself using three 30L buckets.
Took a day and a half as it was slow going.
Decided l could carry ten spadefuls at a time and do ten buckets before l needed a rest.
It worked well until the last two sessions when l went down to eight spadefuls.
Finished at about 4.00pm then at 6.20pm got the message from Rebecca that all four tests were negative.
The rain has given me a needed break which is no bad thing.
Now one more bag to do but that can wait.
I need to go buy some edging bricks first before l start part two.
Please ignore the rest of the garden as it is in need of a huge end of season overhaul.
Just done online Zumba with my lovely instructor W, who told us that today was her 10th anniversary of being a Zumba teacher and l was the only one there who had been at her first lesson when six of us turned up having no idea what Zumba actually was, how l have enjoyed it, only taking a break when my sciatica and back problems have flared up.
