Eurasian Hobby

..... which I had never heard of, near the hides in Villeneuve. I had taken a friend to the doctors near there and was rewarded with this beautiful bird which had nested this year for the first time in the area, and a Eurasian Reed Warbler (extra) another new bird for me! The birds are really collecting at the sheltered end of the lake now that autumn is taking hold (second extra).
