Reunion

About once a year we get together with Longshanks' sister and her people. Until this one, my mom has always been part of these reunions.

Also different: when my mom and I used to walk here--for almost three years after she moved into the nearby memory care facility--she'd say things like, "Some day they'll cut this all down." I'd say, kind of irritated, "Why? It's a park!" But guess what? They are building a massive road through the middle of it.

I sometimes wonder if dementia gave my mother psychic abilities :)
