Happy Valentine

Hello ladies, meet 'Nijntje', a character invented by a Dutch illustrator called Dick Bruna in 1955 . What once started out as a little rabbit who helps the smallest infants learn to read and recognize the basics, soon became a cartoon movie and eventually and logically... worldwide merchandise.

Nijntje - or 'Miffy' as she is called elsewhere in the world - is probably just as famous as Hello Kitty I've been told.

What better way to honor my dear virtual valentines like Pii, Glicious, Gillmacclean, Sweetart, Tigg & all other FVB's (frequent visiting Blipsters) ....

and of course....
