Pretty in pink

A very different day weather-wise but managed a quick blip in the garden in a rare glimpse of sunshine.

This morning a walk to explore the village where we are staying then a hike at Hastings Country Park....so windy then got soaked in a squall. Came across ' Exmouth ponies ' who roam there and Belted Galloway cattle apparently live there too. The landscape was forest and ferns and gorse/ moorlike vegetation. Very interesting.  

Very proud of our son tonight as he has just submitted his thesis for his PhD after 4 years of dedication  and hard work.
