Blue Skies...

...as we left Argyll and Bute but we were aware that the rest of the country south of Glasgow, was due a deluge so we didn't rush to get to the next overnight stop in The Lakes.
Kilchurn Castle, a much photographed ruin, was just up the road so that was our first and, as it turned out, our only photo opportunity.
Unfortunately, in good weather the power lines and pylons are far too noticeable and spoil the view.
Plan A was to drive through the Trossachs but 2 hours after leaving our B and B, we got a call to say that we'd forgotten something! ****!
Plan B, return to collect and carry on down the road to Inverary, the route we normally use.
The sun shone all the way until Glasgow and then it has poured down for the rest of our journey to Ings.
As I write this the sun is setting and another lovely day is promised here tomorrow so our return home may be delayed by a few more hours.
