What a Treat!

Colder, but dry and sunny. It was too nice to miss out on a walk, so off I went. I had seen a report that the first of the Redwings had been spotted locally, so I thought it was worth looking at a local spot where Rowan berries are plentiful. No luck yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Unexpectedly, as I was on my way home, I spotted a few birds flitting across the road and into a field. They landed on fenceposts so I got a half decent view. Stonechats! I've never seen them so close to home. The main picture is a female and I've put the male in extras.
