Drifted Conkers

Seen underneath a very big horse chestnut tree at Pipers Croft on the estate this afternoon while walking with Basil.

Feeling better but not happy about my mobility. Often feel as if I'm losing balance.

Watched a Zoom talk by Jane Hilton on her experiences photographing the USA. She showed a photo of a young girl who was working in one of the Nevada brothels to pay her way through university. Gosh I was so lucky when I went to university. Never had to resort to that.

Those conkers are marvellous. Shame that they lose their brilliance after just one day.
