Aglow

We had a really lovely afternoon spent visiting one of Mr. W's old high school friends and his wife who happen to live in Boston too.  We drove to their charming home right opposite the gates of the Arnold Arboretum, and enjoyed a delicious lunch outside in their garden before taking a walk through the park with their dogs Tilly and Tach.  These gorgeous leaves were just starting to flaunt their Fall wardrobe.  Sweet old Tilly is suffering from congestive heart failure and arthritis brought on by old age, but she was game for a walk, and she and Mr. W enjoyed sharing a stick with each other as they strolled side by side.  So cute!
