Wind in the Willows

I found out by chance the other day that Ernest Shepard’s grave is nearby as he used to live in Lodsworth. So, always prone to getting bees in my bonnet, I dragged Mr DA over to St Peter’s church for a wander after work. The headstone features one of his wonderful illustrations for Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows.

In other news, I’ve given in and switched the heating on today. Nearly made it to October.
